Hi! So I just finished my very first book deal - three books for Oxford University Press, for teaching English overseas. I absolutely loved doing these - as there are about 250 images I thought I'd just put up a selection of my faves!

Boys

Another black and white illustration for the lovely Bright peeps. I think these outdoorsy, 1940s style boys were inspired by the gorgeous weather!

This is a piece of development work I just did for my agency - I reckon it's got a bit of a manga-esque feeling to it - maybe I've been watching too much Fullmetal Alchemist...

Baby Jebus

This is a picture of Baby Gee and the 3 kings which I did for a Christian textbook for a company based in the USA. Yeah baby, I'm all international and stuff...

Roger!

This is a design I did for a friend's birthday card (the lovely gutless wonder Beck). The bird-guy at the top is Roger - he's, well I'm not sure where he came from, but a while ago I started drawing him in doodles and other birthday cards. He's a giant man-bird creature who always looks kind of displeased with the world. Anyway, I hadn't drawn him for a while so I thought I'd bring him on back to please (or slightly freak out) everyone!

Don't ask where the Elizabethan woman came from....I have no idea....

Dinosaurs

I'm terrified of dinosaurs... So I suppose this is a kind of therapy - trying to make them look super friendly and not like the cold-blooded reptilian killers they are. I mean, were. Ahem.

Vikings!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to do a picture of Vikings - they're my favourite thing ever.
