Roger!

This is a design I did for a friend's birthday card (the lovely gutless wonder Beck). The bird-guy at the top is Roger - he's, well I'm not sure where he came from, but a while ago I started drawing him in doodles and other birthday cards. He's a giant man-bird creature who always looks kind of displeased with the world. Anyway, I hadn't drawn him for a while so I thought I'd bring him on back to please (or slightly freak out) everyone!

Don't ask where the Elizabethan woman came from....I have no idea....

Dinosaurs

I'm terrified of dinosaurs... So I suppose this is a kind of therapy - trying to make them look super friendly and not like the cold-blooded reptilian killers they are. I mean, were. Ahem.

Vikings!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to do a picture of Vikings - they're my favourite thing ever.

Saddle up, pardner

This is a portfolio piece I just finished, about a group of pioneers in the American West. It's part of a series so more to follow. I spent ages making up ridiculously detailed back-stories for the characters - I'd relate them for you but I'd be here all week! Use your imaginations....

Prof H

This is a sample double page spread I created for the History Press. It shows a scene from the opening of the Albert Dock in Liverpool. I like the colours - I tried to use all of them (heh).

Cool Earth

Two double page spreads for a children's book about protecting the rainforests from deforestation.

Character Designs

Some Celts, and some characters from a book I'm working on for older readers about time travel.
